Nearly two decades in traditional banking, including my years as a mortgage underwriter at USAA, taught me how real institutions work: risk, compliance, and the operational realities that decide whether new technology succeeds or stalls.
Discovering Blockchain
I discovered blockchain during the 2020 lockdown, first through my daughters, then through months of going deep. Personal curiosity hardened into conviction: this technology would reshape finance and opportunity, and most leaders had no map for it.
The Pivot
I left a stable banking career to work in emerging technology full time and founded Gentry Media. The leap paid off, and it clarified my real work: translating complex technology into decisions business leaders can act on with confidence.
